Frequently Asked Questions

I’m a beginner, is this challenge for me?

Whether you are an absolute beginner that has never spoken a word of Spanish or an intermediate learner looking to take your Spanish to the next level, this challenge is for you.  As a beginner, learning how to incorporate Spanish into your daily routine will get you on the right start to successfully learning Spanish.

How do I sign up?

Click the “Sign Up Now” button at the top of the page.  Then, watch your inbox for your confirmation email (don’t forget to check your Spam, Bulk, Junk, and Promotional (gmail) folders/tabs).

What results will I get in just 5 days?

Whether you are getting started with Spanish or just need a motivation boost to get to the next level, starting the habit of effective goal setting and execution will give you results.  Consistency in language learning is more important than the amount of time spent.

At the end of the challenge, you’ll have a realistic plan to start on a path to speaking Spanish fluently.

What if I can’t participate every day?

All challenge videos and worksheets will be posted to the challenge website.  You will have your own username and password to access recordings and materials whenever it is convenient for you.  If you fall behind, just catch up as you have time.

Why can’t I just do this on my own?

You can, but statistics show that without real accountability you are more likely to fail at reaching your goals. You also need to make sure you are setting winnable goals, and getting feedback from other Spanish learners and language coach will give you a better chance at making steps towards fluency that you may not achieve on your own.

Is there a fee to participate?

No, it’s absolutely free.

I have a question, but it wasn’t answered here.

Email support@spanishconsalsa.com and we will answer your question lo más pronto posible (as soon as possible) 🙂

¡Hola! My name is Tamara Marie and I’m the founder of Spanish Con Salsa.  As a language coach, I specialize in brain-friendly ways to learn languages.

Growing up in the US, I only spoke English for most of my life. I learned Spanish as an adult after many years of trial and error.

Speaking Spanish has allowed me to travel and make connections in Costa Rica, Argentina, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Mexico.

I’m passionate about helping people learn Spanish the way people speak in the real world.  I help my clients and learning communities get their heads out of textbooks and get comfortable speaking Spanish faster.
